Fibonacci Goes Floral   FIBONACCI GOES FLORAL

Leonardo de Pisa, known as Fibonacci, was a thirteenth century Italian mathematician who promoted replacing Roman numerals with our current Hindu-Arabic number system.  He is best known for a number sequence named in his honor, a sequence which frequently appears in nature, architecture, science, and the arts. Numbers and proportions from that sequence are considered particularly pleasing and are used throughout this quilt. Would Fibonacci like this quilt?  Judy “figures” he would.
