Judy Johnson is a prolific quilter who enjoys working in both traditional and contemporary forms of the art. Her early work was influenced by her background in mathematics and included many quilts with strong geometric and symmetrical patterns. More recently, she has extended her body of work to include original designs, many with circular or curved elements. Judy utilizes her background as an educator to share what she has learned in her eleven-year exploration into quilt-making by teaching and lecturing on a variety of techniques, always enjoying sharing her knowledge and skills with others. A resident of Sunriver, Oregon, her work has been featured in special exhibits at the Sister's Outdoor Quilt Show and has been juried into a number of regional and national shows.
